SMS Terms

Program Description

Text messaging is not yet available. We are not sending text messages at this time, and the text-message sign-up box is not yet shown on our web forms. This page describes the program we plan to offer. We will not text anyone until the program begins and that person has opted in.

American Eagle Investigations, Inc. (“AEI,” “we,” “us”) plans to offer a text-message program (the “AEI Unclaimed Property Updates” program) for people who have asked us to look into their unclaimed property or who have agreed to hear from us by text. Messages come from American Eagle Investigations, Inc. and from the service providers we hire on your behalf, such as our claims-processing partner, Saving Grace Funds Recovery, LLC, and relate only to your unclaimed property search and claim. Each message identifies American Eagle Investigations, Inc. In these SMS Terms, “we” and “us” include those service providers when they send messages for AEI.

This is a customer-care and account-notification program. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages through it.

How You Opt In

We send text messages only after you agree to receive them. You can opt in by:

• Checking the “Yes, text me” box next to the phone number field on the forms at americaneagleinvestigations.com or americaneagleinvestigations.com/property-lookup and submitting the form;
• Texting us a message asking us to text you back; or
• Telling us during a phone call that you would like to receive texts, in which case we will confirm your choice by text.

Message Types and Frequency

If you opt in, you may receive messages such as:

• Confirmation that you signed up for text messages
• Search results and updates about property that may belong to you
• Requests for documents or information needed for your claim
• Claim status updates and appointment or call-back reminders

Message frequency varies depending on the status of your request.

Costs

AEI does not charge a fee for text messages. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.

Opting Out and Getting Help

You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT) to any message. After you reply STOP we will send one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed and will then stop texting you. If you later want to receive texts again, tell us or opt in again using one of the methods above.

Opting out of text messages does not end your other dealings with AEI, and we and our service providers may still contact you by phone, email, or mail about your request.

Carriers and Delivery

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.

Your Mobile Number and Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and be the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you provide. If you change or give up your mobile number, reply STOP first or contact us so another person does not receive messages meant for you.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. These SMS Terms supplement our Terms of Service.
